How do I earn the designation of an Arizona Master Teacher Mentor?
Mentors who are working in an Arizona New Teacher Program district/school/site AND have completed two years of training under the grant cycle, will earn the designation of Arizona Master Teacher Mentor at the end of the grant cycle.

What are the District/School requirements if selected to participate in the Arizona New Teacher Program?
Participating districts/schools will: provide release time for Mentors/Coaches, demonstrate need and capacity to utilize Mentors/Coaches effectively, provide expenses reports for all necessary training, provide stipends to designated Mentors/Coaches, ensure attendance of Mentors /Coaches in required training, for further requirement information please review the tiers of support and/or the application.
Who do I contact if my district is interested in participating in the Arizona New Teacher Program?
The Arizona K12 Center offers a competitive program application process for schools or districts that wish to begin a mentoring program, or supplement and build sustainability to an existing program. Please contact info@azk12.org if your district is interested in applying for the Arizona New Teacher Program. They will need to complete an application outlining the district's interest and willingness to meet the requirements of participation.
What is the Arizona New Teacher Induction Network (AZNTIN)?
This learning series provides an opportunity for district teams including a program lead, a mentor/coach, a site administrator, and one other member of your choice (i.e. Curriculum Director, Assistant Superintendent, Principal, School Board Member) to learn together with a diverse network of stakeholders that support induction and mentoring work. These learning opportunities invite participants to engage decision makers and practitioners in a common space to share what is making an impact on teacher retention, beginning teacher support, and ultimately student learning.
Can my district team of four attend Arizona New Teacher Induction Network (AZNTIN) if we are not part of the grant?
Yes!! If you are interested in connecting, sharing, and collaborating with districts across the state on the topic of new teacher support and induction you are invited. You do not have to be a part of the Arizona New Teacher Program in order to attend the Arizona New Teacher Induction Network.
