Teachers Academy
Graduates of Northern Arizona University’s Arizona Teachers Academy have access to a trained mentor their first year of teaching. Our mentors are trained in providing skillful feedback to enhance the beginning teacher's success. Academy graduates who take advantage of this support can count on their mentor being in their classroom two hours a week to provide coaching, mentoring, and collegial support, all designed to advance the practice of the beginning teacher while increasing student learning.
