17th Annual Celebration of Accomplished Teaching

The Arizona K12 Center presents the 17th Annual Celebration of Accomplished Teaching. Join us for an unforgettable evening at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass as we honor Arizona's newest achieved and maintained National Board Certified Teachers. We'll also recognize school districts that commit to significant financial support for National Board Certified Teachers, and celebrate one District of Distinction for its outstanding, comprehensive support of National Board candidates and accomplished educators.

National Board Certification is the highest professional credential an educator can earn in the United States. This rigorous, reflective process — administered by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards — asks educators to demonstrate their expertise through the lens of the National Board Standards and Five Core Propositions. It’s a powerful journey of growth, dedication, and impact.

The Celebration of Accomplished Teaching is a night to remember — an evening filled with inspiration, pride, and recognition. This signature event marks the incredible milestone of National Board Certification with a cocktail hour, a formal dinner, and an awards ceremony, where we roll out the red carpet to honor Arizona’s most accomplished educators. Each year, we are proud to shine a spotlight on these outstanding teachers and the communities that champion them. We warmly invite district leaders, colleagues, and families to join us in celebrating the transformative impact of accomplished teaching across Arizona.

Honorees are invited to attend at no cost and may bring one guest for $25. Additional guests are $85 per person.

This event is not intended for children.
