The phrase, “You don’t know what you have until it’s gone,” has never been more true for one former Arizona teacher. Read why you should count your teacher blessings if you teach in the Grand Canyon state.

Erin Eppler is a National Board Certified Teacher who relocated to Gorham, Maine in 2015. The Northern Arizona University alumnus left the sunshine of Lake Havasu for the east coast, after teaching more than 13 years in rural Arizona.

  2. Colleagues that seek excellence.

  3. Professional development opportunities with the Arizona K12 Center.

  4. Great weather; you don’t have to shovel sunshine!
