Here’s everything you need to know to get started (including upcoming dates!).

Becoming a Master Teacher is one of the best ways to grow your teaching career. Through the Arizona Master Teacher Program, you will have the opportunity to increase your responsibilities and develop your role as an educator.

Master Teachers can perform two distinct roles within their schools or districts.

First, you have the choice to work with the newest teachers entering the profession as a mentor and coach.

The second option is to serve as a content coach for experienced teachers in the content area of English, math, or science. This route has specific requirements for each content area, so check and see if you qualify for your area of interest.

No matter your choice, you’ll help change the lives of your fellow educators — and their students.

If you’re interested in becoming a Master Teacher, consider the basic requirements and see if you qualify! If you do, make sure to begin your application as soon as possible and submit your intent to apply by Sept. 30.

Did you know that the Master Teacher Program helps to boost teacher retention? You can be a part of this success! The first step to becoming a Master Teacher is seeing if you qualify and submitting your intent to apply.
