Building a System of Support, Feedback, and Accountability: An Experience for School Principals

Building a System of Support, Feedback, and Accountability: An Experience for School Principals

Mindsteps has found that there are only four ways to move your teachers towards mastery—the Four Disciplines of Buildership: feedback, support, accountability, and culture. In this two-day virtual workshop, we will introduce principals and assistant principals to three of them: support, accountability, and culture.

Day One: Support
Principals and other attendees will learn how to build a support system that is both deliberate and differentiated. Since not all support works with all teachers, Mindsteps will show you how to differentiate your support to help every teacher grow at least one level in their most critical domain in one year or less through intentional "one thing feedback."

Day Two: Accountability & Culture
Principals and other attendees will learn how to build a culture that encourages all to take on a level of personal accountability. Mindsteps will show you how to build an environment where masterful teaching is the norm and students and parents thrive as a result.
