1st Annual Arizona Induction Symposium: Building a Culture of Induction
Provided in partnership with the Arizona Department of Education, the Arizona Induction Symposium is designed for school and district leaders from across the state to explore, learn, and act on the critical aspects of successful induction programs. As we work together to build a culture of induction across Arizona, participants will plan intentional support for the newest members of the teaching profession. There will be time to network and apply the event’s learning toward actionable steps for your district and schools.
Bring a team of stakeholders to this event from your school or district to learn and plan together. This opportunity will support you in clearly thinking about the supports for beginning teachers through a standards-based, instructional lens.
- Engage in discussion and collaboration centered around beginning teacher support.
- Gain an understanding of Prop. 208 and how funding can be used in your induction and mentoring practices.
- Create a plan for comprehensive induction and mentoring supports.
