New Teacher Support

The Arizona K12 Center provides tiered funding assistance for those programs, schools, or districts that would like to implement an induction and mentoring program. Priority goes to schools with the highest need.

As you prepare your application it may be helpful to reflect on the need for a mentoring program and the impact on teachers and students. You may want to begin collecting information regarding the average number of new teachers hired each year, students served, and a current understanding of how new teachers are supported.
