The 16th Annual Teacher Leadership Institute: Where Curiosity and Leadership Unite is set for June 21-23. This two-and-a-half day experience is filled with workshop-style general sessions, engaging breakouts, and a variety of Arizona teacher leader stories!

No matter what you teach—elementary, high school, math, history, music, special education—Teacher Leadership Institute is for you. If you’re the kind of teacher who often wonders about the impact of your work, this event is especially for you!

Camaraderie is a big part of what keeps teachers returning to our Teacher Leadership Institute, and we will continue that this year. Especially after a year like no other, this Teacher Leadership Institute will include space to debrief, re-align your practice, and have a little fun with fellow teachers. Bring a team from your school or district to build stronger connections with your coworkers. You’ll also meet teachers from across the state who are as enthusiastic as you are about improving their practice and transforming learning for all students.

The teachers highlighted as Teacher Leader Spotlights and on the Arizona TeacherSolutions® Team are those making a difference in communities in your state, maybe even just down the hallways from where you teach. They aren't just role models you'll hear at a one-time conference but people you can stay connected with and who show the variety of ways teacher leadership can look in our state. This year’s general session facilitators Dr. Gholnecsar “Gholdy” Muhammad, Trevor Mackenzie, and Jaime Casap will also push you to new understandings about how your curiosity can drive your work.

After what has likely been the most challenging school year in many teachers’ careers, we are offering this summer’s Teacher Leadership Institute at no cost to Arizona educators to help re-energize, refuel, and unite the Arizona teacher leader community.
