Learn More: Identification and Recognition
To earn the designation of Master Teacher or Master Teacher Mentor, an applicant must earn a total weighted scaled score that equals or exceeds 2.75. For more information on the scoring process, see Scoring Process.
All applicants will receive a formal letter acknowledging their final status after scoring. This letter will be sent in hard copy to the address provided on the Applicant Information Form and will include a Final Score Report. The Score Report will outline raw and weighted scores on each of the three components and a total weighted score that must equal or exceed 2.75 to designate the applicant as a Master Teacher or Master Teacher Mentor. A certificate of recognition by the Arizona K12 Center will be distributed at a formal ceremony in the spring semester following the application year. The applicant will receive information via the email address provided in the Applicant Information Form regarding any formal recognition ceremony if applicable.
