You may have asked yourself, “Where do I begin with STEM learning?” This four-day experience will provide guidance for understanding STEM and confidently integrating it into your curriculum. Rather than approaching STEM as its own subject, you’ll learn how to intentionally weave science, technology, engineering, and math, amid other disciplines. The facilitators will transition participants from “What is STEM?” to “How do I construct meaningful STEM lessons and units?” Participants will walk through a comprehensive planning framework, which will culminate with a completed STEM unit ready for implementation.
Participants will:
- Collaborate as a team around the intentional implementation of STEM.
- Understand how to integrate STEM in a meaningful way.
- Develop a STEM unit.
Additional Information:
Registration includes continental breakfast, lunch, and the book STEM Lesson Essentials.
