How can you turn simple conversations into powerful opportunities to plan and reflect? This workshop is designed for those who want to hone their skills and refine the tools of coaching.

This one-day workshop is available to those who have completed the Cognitive Coaching Foundations Seminar and interested in learning how to use the Calibrating Conversation Map. Calibrating conversations are designed as a way for coaches and evaluators to assist colleagues in calibrating their progress in relation to external sets of standards such as rubrics, self-assessments, and evaluation instruments.

The Arizona K12 Center is providing this training in partnership with Thinking Collaborative. Participants will increase efficiency in asking meditational questions to guide a reflective thought process.

Topics include the tools and maps of planning, reflecting, and meta-coaching.

Participants will gain:

  • A deeper understanding of the Planning and Reflecting Conversation Map.
  • Enhanced skills in navigating the maps.
  • Increased efficacy in asking meditational questions related to the maps.
Additional Information:

Registration includes training, materials, continental breakfast, and lunch.

** Cognitive CoachingSM Foundations Seminar (Days 1-8) is a prerequisite for this single-day workshop. **
